Having the correct packing materials when you move house will not only give you peace of mind that your items are safe and secure for transportation but will make the process of moving so much easier.
At Todds Removals we supply 2 sizes of double wall boxes, smaller boxes for heavier items such as books, CDs, china and heavy pots and pans and larger boxes for your lighter items. Our boxes are modular which means the different sizes stack easily making loading the lorry quicker and using space more efficiently.
Paper for wrapping your belongings, this protects items in transit and stops them rubbing together. Scrunch up paper to fill gaps in your boxes to prevent items moving. Paper can also be used to line boxes when packing delicate items.
Bubble wrap for those fragile items such as ornaments or ornate frames.
Tape, our boxes come flat packed for convenience so will need to be assembled as you pack. Check out our packing guide for the best way to quickly and easily assemble a box so it is sturdy and secure whilst carrying your items. We can also provide tape dispensers so you can always locate the end of the tape.
Hanging Boxes, designed for moving the contents of your wardrobe. Your clothes can be left on their hangers and easily transferred from your wardrobe to the hanging box to your new wardrobe with no fuss, clothes are ready to wear the day you move in.
Mattress Bags, exactly what they say they are a large bag into which your mattresses will be placed to keep them clean and safe during your move. They come in 2 sizes 6’0 and 3’6” to accommodate all mattress sizes.
On the day our crews will bring with them; suite and appliance covers, floor coverings and blanket wraps for all your furniture.
We also supply specialised materials such as acid free tissue and export wrapping paper.
All our quotations include high quality packing materials, don’t be tempted to use supermarket boxes as they are not always strong enough and the irregular sizes can make loading the lorry more difficult.
Sustainability is important to us at Todds Removals our boxes are made of 75% recycled materials and bubble wrap and mattress bags 30% and our paper is offcuts from the newspaper printing industry. Our materials can be used more than once so if you are staying local we will collect them when you have unpacked and either re-use or recycle them. All out packing materials can be recycled when no longer fit for purpose.
