The Moving Process
When you’re ready contact us on 01787 377489 to book an appointment with one of our surveyors, who will visit you at your home to discuss your service requirements and answer any of your questions. Our surveyor will travel within 30 miles of our Sudbury base to carry out your survey if you live outside of this area please complete our QUOTE LIST FORM and either email or post it to us.
Our surveyor will then prepare a bespoke removal schedule to suit your needs and requirements. All this is done free of charge and you are under no obligation to us.
When you are ready to move give us a call on 01787 377489 to book your Removal, we will then arrange the delivery of your packing materials if you have opted to pack yourself. Check out our packing advice here. On moving day our crew will arrive bright and early to get on with your removal all we ask is that you are ready to move and maybe to put the kettle on.
If you are not moving into your new house straight away we can offer a variety of storage options
Once the last box has been placed in your house our crew will ensure you are happy with the position of your furniture and then leave you to enjoy you new home.
Moving Office
We can tailor your office removal to your requirements to help minimise downtime for your company. As standard we supply crates, IT crates, Small skids, Labels, Security tags, Anti static bubble bags for IT equipment, So whether you’re moving individuals internally or have a whole office to move across town we have the skills and expertise
Other Removal Services
Our services also include moving individual items whether you’ve purchased an antique at auction, inherited a family heirloom or just need to move an item between homes. Our crews will treat a single item with the same care and consideration as if moving your whole home.
We move all kinds of pianos, whether to the village hall for a concert or to your new home.
We can also move your clocks whether it’s the heirloom on the mantle piece or Grandfather in the hallway our team have the expertise to ensure they are still telling the time in you new home.
If you are having the decorators in or having a new carpet laid we can come to your home and move any large and heavy items from one room to the another to allow the work to be carried out easily whilst protecting your effects.
We offer a variety of packing options; from packing up your whole house to just one room or your fragile items. Our surveyor will talk you through these options at your meeting.
The much forgotten part of the removal process is the unpacking, we can do this for you all items will be removed from the boxes and placed on horizontal surfaces.
If you choose to do your unpacking we will come and collect your used packing materials and take them away for re-use or recycling.

Advanced Payment Guarantee
When you move home, it is standard practice to pay your removal company in advance. You would obviously be concerned therefore that if your chosen remover suffered financial failure before your moving date, you would have lost any payment made and so for that reason, BAR members provide an Advanced Payment Guarantee to their customers. All BAR members are financially vetted and provide the safety net of an APG scheme
