  • Promoting inclusivity and diversity within the workplace
  • Contributing to mentoring and offering apprenticeship schemes
  • Providing support in kind to community organisations.
  • Offering work experience to young people
  • Engaging and supporting, schools, colleges and universities.
  • Working with local business organisations, suppliers and the Chamber of Commerce

Net Zero

We are developing our net zero policy as we understand that climate change is a global issue affecting us all, and we all have a part to play. As a major food producing region with coastal towns and areas just above sea level, Suffolk is particularly susceptible to the damaging effects of climate change. With Suffolk local authorities declaring a climate emergency and aiming to be net-zero by 2030, we must take action now.

As part of this work we will be focusing on areas including:

  • Carbon reduction
  • Staff engagement
  • Estate energy efficiencies
  • Transport
  • Waste and recycling
  • Supply chain

In lieu of this policy we are already working with our local suppliers to ensure that where possible we are using recycled or sustainable materials as part of our operation.
